Melissa Bonds born Melissa Salazar has always had a fascination with makeup. Since an early age in the early 90s, she remembers going into her mother's makeup bag and grabbing a metallic purple lipstick. Fascinated with this color, she would put it all over her face, just like any child would do with makeup. She says " I walked out of the room thinking I looked absolutely gorgeous, but little did I know I was going to be in big trouble." As high school years approached, she was just a simple makeup kind of girl. Eyeliner, mascara, and lipgloss were all she needed. When Melissa turned 25, she started experimenting more with her face and different types of makeup. When she found love for makeup, she started making sure she has worked OverTime, just to make sure she could get her favorite products from MAC, or Sephora. As time went on, she slowly learned what worked for her face, and started turning makeup into a hobby. She noticed a ton of gorgeous makeup artists using glitter on their lids, lips, and body.  Melissa says, "My hobby turned into a passion, I knew I wanted to actually do and not just become a makeup artist, but I wanted to make up actual makeup products. I wanted to make a product that artists would love to cover themselves in and feel good doing so. So I decided that I wasn't going to stop my dream until my empire is built". Melissa is very thankful for her friends and family that support her, and for the husband in her life that continues to push her to do what she loves and not give up.
